Last weekend I spent a few days in Lisbon, and it’s safe to say the city completely won me over.
Between the steep, winding streets, the pastel-colored facades, and the light bouncing off the Tagus River, it felt like there was a photo opportunity around every corner.
What struck me most was how friendly and welcoming everyone was. Combined with prices that felt refreshingly reasonable compared to other European capitals, it made for an easy, relaxed trip.
Photographically, Lisbon is a dream. The Bairro Alto neighborhood and the famous Pink Street offered some great shots, but for me the real highlight was along the water. The light on the Tagus, the boats, and the views back toward the city were hard to beat.
For this trip I only brought my beloved OM System OM-5, small and light enough to carry around all day without ever feeling like a burden.
Below is a small selection of images from the trip.
